The collection started around 10 years ago. I worked abroad for
the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and upon my return I bought
toys for my children. It started to remind me of the toys I had as
child. I started to look for a Corgi Chitty and that was it! I had to find everything I could. The car & collection has appeared in the press and on TV in the UK - Richard & Judy/Collectors Lot & Granada Reports and in the Daily Mail. It is also due to appear on several more TV programmes in the near future. My special items are the original dress Sally Ann Howes wore as ‘Truly Scrumptious’ and the original prop model of ‘Granpa’s Hut’. As it stands now I have around 2,000 items in the collection. |
